The ledger

The hash-chained, append-only record of who did what, and how to verify it.

Every meaningful action — an answer accepted, a draft approved, a connector connected, a device enrolled or revoked — is recorded in an append-only ledger, hash-chained so that altering an old entry would break the chain from that point forward. It distinguishes what a system observed from what a human decided, which is exactly the distinction an assessor asking "who approved this" needs answered.

How to use it

Open the Ledger tab to see the running record for your organization, newest first. Each entry names the actor — a person or, for a scan, the connector itself — and can be verified on screen: the chain is checked live rather than assumed intact.

There is nothing to set up here. Every organization gets a ledger the moment it exists, and it is not something anyone — including an owner — can edit or delete from.
